Cool toned greys, blues, nudes and browns are probably my favourite colours to wear on my nails, they look chic, natural and are easy to wear on most occasions. There have been four stand out shades for me recently which I seem to keep going back to, so let me give you the low down of each one...
Starting with the far left swatch, Barry M Cappuccino is a really beautiful deep mauve toned grey, a little purply too! It's one of those shades which is hard to explain without mentioning about three colours! It's a bold shade which is opaque with 2 layers and it has a lovely sheen finish.
Next up is a shade which looks a lot darker in the bottle than on the nails. If you're after a classic dark grey shade then Kiko Graphite Grey is a winner. The heavy coverage polish creates a true opaque block of colour on the nail and is such a staple shade all year around.
If you're into dusky, cool toned blues then Nails Inc Little George Street will tick the box for you. This shade has been in my top 10 since day one, I always go back to it if I'm after something attractive yet relatively sophisticated on the nail. Nails Inc formulas are always going to be a favourite of mine, 1 layer is enough for a good coating and they leave a beautiful glossy finish.
Finally, a new shade in my collection which I am loving so much, I end up taking it off and just re applying the same shade! Ciaté Cream Soda is the perfect mid-tone grey which looks so chic on the nails it really adds a nice touch to outfits. The shade is so wearable, both day and night, it can look super causal but also really glam and sophisticated. The formula dries really fast so you can apply this quickly when you're in a rush!
What are your go to nail shades at the moment?
