University Make Up

Whether you've recently started your first year at uni like I have, or you are going back for a new term, then this post hopefully will help you achieve a fresh and simple makeup look, give you some inspiration or recommend some new products to you. Of course if you are at school/college then you too can re create this look as it is so versatile.

A new discovery for my base is the Bourjois CC cream, it is lighter than the Healthy Mix foundation but still gives me enough coverage to wear every day. I apply 1 pump of this to my face with the Real Techniques beauty blender to really push the product into my skin. To conceal and brighten the area I apply my Maybelline concealer in a triangle shape under the eye. To get extra brightness and illumination, this is when my Estฤ“e Lauder BB Brush on Glow comes in very handy, I simply dot this in the places I want to highlight, blend in and the job is done.

To add some definition to my face I use a matte bronzer on my cheeks, temples and bring it just under my jawline. For blush I don't want anything too strong so I wear Clinique blush in Berry Pop. Although it looks very bright, they apply lightly on the skin, giving a light flush of colour. Another blush option of me which I sometimes go for, is any of the powders in my Makeup Revolution palette (as shown in the picture)

YSL Baby Doll is an old favourite of mine, the thin brush curls my lashes and gives me enough volume to last the day. To tame my brows, a gel does the job perfectly, keeping them fixed in shape so they don't budge!

Lastly the Lips: Topshop Lipstick Naturist

Another much spoken about product, I know, but this is the best nude out there for me and I find Topshop lipsticks are hydrating to wear every day.

So there are the products I use everyday! Do you use any of these products?
